期中考前給全校師生的一封信 1090410

敬愛的老師、同學:

  平安!

  因應疫情變化,本校依據疫情指揮中心公告,提醒大家注意下列事項,敬請全校配合。

 

一、期中考週(413日週一至418日週六)學生請假原則

    (一)由教務處或進修部安排考試者:學生若身體出現不適症狀,請儘速就醫,並應於考試當節開始二十分鐘內,以電話通知教務處課務組(須附就醫相關證明)。到校後將請假單會簽教務處課務組,辦妥請假手續。教務處將安排補考事宜。

  (二)非由教務處或進修部安排考試者:學生若身體出現不適症狀,請儘速就醫,學生請主動與任課教師聯繫,由任課教師安排期中考成績補救方式,並同時完成線上請假程序(須附就醫相關證明)。

 

二、各單位活動辦理原則

  師生社團活動、學術單位、行政單位等所屬活動辦理原則如下:

    (一)暫停辦理室內100人以上、室外500人以上的活動。辦理時請務必依「文藻外語大學集會活動舉辦與否風險評估表」最新版,審慎評估並據實填報。

   (二)教學或活動時,建議實施固定座位表。

 

三、加強自主健康監測

    依據教育部45日通報,連假期間曾去國家級警報所含景點者、群聚或密閉公共場所者,請務必提高對自身健康狀況的警覺,每天量測體溫。如發現身體不適,請勿進入校園(包括勿自行服退燒藥勉強進校),請配戴口罩立即就醫或在家休息,並即時通報學校。前述教職員工生在家、在校時均需自主健康管理14天。再次強調,全體教職員工生在校活動時必須全程戴口罩,且遵守與他人保持室內1.5公尺、室外1公尺的社交安全距離。

 

四、校園消毒

    總務處訂於109411日(星期六)13001700執行校園環境全面噴藥消毒(含次氯酸水消毒殺菌及賽滅寧病媒蚊防治乳劑),本次消毒範圍包括所有建築物內部空間教室、圖書館、體育館、學生餐廳、學生活動中心及宿舍區域以及校園戶外環境公共區域。校園消毒過後,防疫期間進入校園請做好預防措施及維持環境清潔,讓全校師生都能安心教學與學習。

 

    防疫期間相關配套措施依疫情狀況,陳校長核定後調整之。

Dear faculty members and students,

 

May this email find you all well. To cope with infection prevention, please follow the measures accordingly as in the announcement by CDC’s Central Epidemic Command Center.

 

I. Regulations on students’ leave application during the Midterm Exam week (from Monday, April 13th to Saturday, April 18th)

  1. In the case of exams arranged by the Office of Academic Affairs or the Continuing Division: 

If the test-taker (student) develops symptoms of illness, then he or she is required to seek medical attention immediately, and inform the Curriculum Section, Office of Academic Affairs at (07)342-6031 ext. 2122~2124 within 20 minutes after the exam starts. The doctor’s diagnosis and related documents should be attached with the printed leave application form and delivered to the Curriculum Section. After the completion of leave application, the Office of Academic Affairs will make arrangement for a makeup exam.

 

  1. In the case of exams arranged by units other than the Office of Academic Affairs or the Continuing Division:

If the test-taker (student) develops symptoms of illness, then he or she is required to seek medical attention immediately, contact by phone or other devices the teacher(s) of the course(s) for a makeup exam or substitute task for the midterm exam, and complete the online application for leave (with the attachment of medical care documents).

 

II. Regulations on conducting activities or events on campus

Policies for activities or events conducted by teachers’ or students’ clubs and associations, academic units, and administrative units are listed as follows.

 

  1. All indoor events over 100 people and outdoor events over 500 people will be suspended. When conducting an event, please follow the newest edition of “Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages Gathering and Event Risks Assessment Form” and fill it up with cautious evaluation and report honestly.
  2. For face-to-face instruction or activities, it is strongly recommended that a plan with assigned seats should be made in advance.

 

III. Enhancement of personal health management and monitoring

According to the MOE notification of April 5th, faculty, staff or students who had been to the 11 major tourist attractions that were listed as national alerts, or had stayed  in cluster gatherings or enclosed public places during the Tomb-sweeping break should be on guard against infection by taking body temperature daily. Whoever finds himself or herself ill should refrain from entering the campus (and in particular, should not take antipyretic or any drug to bring down a fever in order to enter the campus), but should wear a facemask when seeking medical attention and resting at home, and should inform the school administration immediately. In such a case, the person should practice health self-management for 14 days both at home and at school. Furthermore, when attending campus activities, all faculty, staff and students should wear facemasks during the whole period and practice social distancing by keeping a 1.5-meter distance indoors and a 1-meter distance outdoors from the nearest person.

 

IV. Campus disinfection

Campus disinfection is scheduled on Saturday, April 11th from 13:00 to 17:00. Spray (hypochlorous acid solution and insecticides such as Cypermethrin) will cover areas including the interior of classrooms, the library, the gym, the student cafeteria, the students’ activity center, the dormitory as well as the outdoor environment and public areas. After the campus disinfection, mandatory prevention measures and hygiene maintenance will continue to provide a safe environment for all on campus to teach and learn.

 

Measures for epidemic prevention will be rightly adjusted after being approved by the President of Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages.
